As of September, City & Guilds will update the Electric Vehicle Charging Installations Course. This update is significant as the IET has published its revised Code of Practice, leading to the release of new National Occupational Standards.

City & Guilds has been working closely with employers and learners practicing the qualification and, through these insights, has formed updates deemed necessary.

For learners, this means they can be assured they are receiving the most up-to-date training within training centres, reinforcing the value of the course and encouraging enrollment.

For businesses, enrolling employees in the 2024 Electric Vehicle Charging Installations Course updates can be a great way to stay ahead of the curve in the fast-growing EV industry. By equipping employees with the latest knowledge and skills in EV charging station design and installation, businesses can demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and position themselves as leaders in the transportation electrification space. Additionally, offering this course to employees can help attract and retain top talent who are interested in working for businesses that prioritize social and environmental responsibility.

Updates include
- aligning it with the latest industry standards
- mapped to National Occupational Standards (NOS)
- mapped to the Electrician Plus model.
