This regulated qualification is for those wishing to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in the installation and maintenance of small scale grid tied Photovoltaic systems. This qualification is based upon the National Occupational Standards as published by industry and is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme registration bodies as an acceptable qualification to join the scheme.

Candidates will need a copy of the IET Code of Practice for Grid-connected Solar Photovoltaic Systems (2nd Edition). Copies can be brought with you or purchased from the centre for £75.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
This qualification is aimed at experienced and practicing electrical operatives, holding the following:
