
SHEA core training provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness in the utilities sector. The Core scheme course is partnered with CSCS which allows the holder to access sites with out the need to hold a separate CSCS card. Individuals are required to complete all modules and pass the SHEA Core assessment to receive the SHEA Core registration and receive a virtual EUSR card. The programme itself is delivered by a qualified Universal Skills trainer, approved by Energy & Utility Skills.

Energy & Utility Skills is a recognised Third Party Organisation (TPO) for CITB and the UK construction industry. This scheme is recognised by CITB for short course duration funding purposes and can be offered by ATOs. After completing the course you will receive an EUSR SHEA Virtual card. The card is valid for 3 or 5 years depending on the scheme. Individuals will be access their card through an app called Vircarda on smartphones and tablets. The digital card is also compatible with CSCS’ Smart Check app enabling registered individuals access to CSCS controlled sites from the 1st of April.Individuals without a smartphone or tablet can still get a plastic card, all they need to do is select the appropriate course option.

The course comprised of 6 modules, covering the ‘core’ SHEA principles as well as 2 industry modules specific to the power industry.

One Day EUSR SHEA Courses Are For Individuals Requiring Access To Operational Sites, Or Those Looking To Renew Their EUSR Card.
