Course Overview

Advancing your knowledge from level 2 supporting your progression to becoming a fully qualified electrician, the level 3 diploma combines classroom learning, practical workshop training, and assessments. On completion of level 3 2365-03, you can move onto the level 3 NVQ portfolio 2357, which, along with the AM2 assessment then allows you to apply for a Gold Card and qualified electrician status, enabling you to join a competent person scheme. You will be qualified to work in a variety of different areas of electrical installation.

Course Content

The 2365 diploma combines classroom learning, practical workshop training, and assessment.

Understand the requirements of environmental technology systems
Principles of electrical science
Fault diagnosis and rectification
Electrical installations: inspection, testing and commissioning
Electrical systems design
Career awareness in building services engineering

Course Structure

A total of 7 weeks will be spent in the training centre, delivered one week per month.

Entry Requirements

To enrol onto the 2365-03, you must hold the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) (2365-02)

To be eligible for online enrolment, you must have completed this qualification within the last 5 years.

We require candidates to be a minimum of 18 years old (mandatory)
