Electrical Tutor/Assessor Vacancy

Job Description

Universal Skills are seeking a hard-working, motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our delivery team as and electrical tutor/assessor. The role entails delivery across several electrical courses included testing and inspection and BS7671:2018. The job entails both training cohorts and assessing individuals against set criteria. The individual must be able to deliver effectively and help build confidence of learners throughout their time at Universal Skills both in the classroom and when providing feedback in the workshop or on their portfolio. Although the role is predominantly based at our Wakefield site, there will be times where you may need to travel for training at other locations dependent on client requirements.

Essential Criteria

Level 3 Electrical Qualification: 2365/2357 or equivalent
Level 3 Testing and Inspection
BS7671: 2018
Renewable qualifications (desirable) e.g.- Solar PV/EESS
Assessors must be experienced practitioners in their field and hold an adult
teaching qualification (Cert Ed, TAQA or PTLLS) be D32, D33 or A1 and A2
qualified or working towards. Successful applicants without these qualifications must agree to undertake training and qualify within 6 months of starting work.
