Legionella Awareness Course
Legionella Awareness (LAC-01)

Legionella Awareness (LAC-01)
All building managers or owners have a duty of care to the people within a building, to ensure there are no risks of contracting Legionnaires disease. UK safety regulators, including the Health & Safety and Care Quality Commission, expect people responsible for health and safety management in the workplace to be properly trained to a level that allows them to perform their duties safely and effectively.
This Legionella and Legionnaires Disease Awareness Training course will help duty holders understand their legal responsibilities regarding controlling legionella risks in artificial water systems. It aims to raise awareness to prevent waterborne diseases caused by Legionella bacteria. This course is suitable for anyone who is involved in any form of Legionella or water hygiene control activities and who may be exposed to aerosols created by water systems.
