Intro :

Under the Working at Heights Regulations 2005, “Scaffolding may be assembled or significantly altered only under the supervision of a competent person and by persons who have received appropriate and specific training.” (schedule 3, clause 2.12). Many accidents are caused through unsafe practices in connection with the use of tower scaffolding and ladders. Our course is designed for skilled and semi-skilled personnel involved with the care and use of ladders and independent tower scaffolds.

Aims :

To enable participants to gain the skills to safely raise, inspect, lower and store independent tower scaffolds and to use and inspect ladders.

  • Painting and Marking - Ladder defects
  • Ladder Angles - Lashing
  • Practical exercises in correct usage
