Intro :

The Working Safely course is designed to ensure delegates understand how their individual and collective actions contribute to health and safety in the workplace and to ensure that their individual responsibilities for Health and Safety are clearly understood.

Aims :

Working Safely aims to meet the governments guidelines for introductory health and safety training and is a 100% match to the HSE’s ‘Safety Passport’ syllabus.

Syllabus :

  • Workplace Health Safety and Welfare
  • Health and Safety Law
  • Occupational health
  • Identify the hazards and evaluate the risks in the workplace
  • Use appropriate workplace precautions for specific risks or seek advice on workplace precautions
  • Assist managers in preparing written risk assessments
  • Follow their organisation’s health and safety matters
  • Carry out work activities without risk to themselves or others
  • Report relevant accidents and incidents
  • Monitor their own activities and assist managers in active monitoring
  • Assessment test
