Intro :

Legislation requires that a safety course is undertaken by those involved in installing and maintaining hot water systems. This qualification is sought after by local authorities and housing associations and is accepted as evidence for the plumbing competent person schemes.

Aims :

To provide training and assessment for those required to install, commission, service and inspect Unvented Hot Water Storage Systems.

Syllabus :

  • Health and safety requirements
  • Review of hot water systems
  • Requirements of G3 and BS7206
  • Temperature, pressure and flow controls
  • Theoretical training and demonstrations
  • Hands-on experience of installing, servicing, commissioning and carrying out fault diagnosis on the systems.
  • Practical & written assessment tests

Certification :

UK Certification Card for install, commission, service and inspect.
