Intro :

This qualification has replaced the C&G 2394 and C&G 2395 qualifications. Our course covers C&G 2391-52 which includes both initial verification and periodic inspection and testing of installations. The course will enable individuals to address the implications of BS7671 for the inspection, testing and certification of installations and prepare delegates for the City and Guilds examinations. Options are available for separate exams for either the initial or the periodic exams only.

Aims :

Course to cover; inspection, testing and certification procedures of electrical installations.

Syllabus :

  • Interpret and apply the requirements of the IET Electrical Wiring Regulations, BS7671
  • Assess wiring diagrams for a given circuit in accordance with the Wiring Regulations, On Site Guide and Inspection and Testing Guidance Notes
  • Inspect and test an electrical installation (1ph & 3ph)
  • Interpret inspection and testing data
  • Complete the paperwork for both initial and periodic inspection and testing
  • Preparation for the written exams
  • City & Guilds multi choice, short written & practical exams

Certification :

City and Guilds 2391-52 certificate

Notes :

Our course is designed for experienced electricians with prior knowledge and understanding of the 17th edition wiring regulations and with experience inspecting and testing electrical circuits. Course including the IET GN3 book and C&G fees. Duration: 5 Days plus 2.5 Days for assignment and short written exam.
