Intro :

The ACS domestic natural gas conversion to LPG course is for experienced gas engineers with a minimum of a current ACS core domestic gas safety qualification, CCN1. Our LPG conversion course covers the PD, RPH & LAV modules and will apply to any domestic natural gas modules achieved whilst the conversion is held.

Aims :

To prepare qualified gas engineers for the ACS CONGLP1 conversion with PD, RPH & LAV assessments

Syllabus :

  • LPG gas safety, introduction and video
  • LPG reference manual
  • Characteristics of LPG and safety when working with heavier than air gases
  • LPG cylinder housing, ECV locations and regulator installations
  • Pipe sizing and draw off rates
  • Appliance installations
  • Flue Systems, size, route and termination
  • Ventilation requirements
  • High pressure testing and tightness testing
  • Purging and let by
  • Standing pressure, working pressure & pressure loss
  • Site locations and testing

Certification :

ACS certificate & card for the LPG PD, RPH & LAV modules on successful completion

Notes :

Assessment only courses and refresher/re-assessment courses are also available
