Intro :

Our ACS refresher and re-assessment sessions are for experienced gas engineers with current or recently expired ACS qualifications. The refresher training is optional. Re-assessments can be for CONGLP1 with the PD, RPH & LAV modules and will apply to any domestic natural gas modules achieved whilst the conversion is held. Delegates also require current CCN1 and CPA1 qualifications.

Aims :

To provide up to date ACS re-qualification for Gas Safe registration for gas engineers.

Syllabus :

  • LPG gas safety, introduction, video and manual
  • Characteristics of LPG and safety when working with heavier than air gases
  • LPG cylinder housing, ECV locations and regulator installations
  • Pipe sizing and draw off rates
  • Appliance installations
  • Flue Systems, size, route and termination
  • Ventilation requirements
  • High pressure testing and tightness testing
  • Purging and let by
  • Standing pressure, working pressure & pressure loss
  • Site locations and testing

Certification :

ACS certificate & card for CONGLP1 with PD, RPH & LAV on successful completion

Notes :

Re-assessments can be taken up to six months early without any loss of time.
