PAT Testing
This qualification is aimed for those with the responsibilities for the maintenance of electrical equipment and for those undertaking practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
The latest City & Guilds 2377-77 replace the previous C&G 2377-23 and 2377-32 qualifications.
A copy of IET Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 5th edition is required for the assessments. You can purchase from us if you do not have a copy of your own or one that you can bring with you.
This course is aimed at practicing electricians interested in progressing their career to test portable electrical appliances.

What are the entry requirements?
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and a practicing electrician.
Can I do the course remotely?
The course is currently delivered face to face from our training centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Can I do the course without purchasing the book?
The book is a requirement for the course exam. You are welcome to bring your own copy or you can purchase one directly from us. A digital copy of the book is not permitted for the exam.
What is the difference between the 2 day and 3 day course?
The 2 day course is aimed at electricians who have industry experience and are up to date with the latest industry regulations. The 3 day course is aimed at at those who are not as familiar with the latest regulations and could benefit from an extra days training.
