About SHEA EUSR courses
SHEA core training provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness in the utilities sector. The Core scheme course is partnered with CSCS which allows the holder to access sites with out the need to hold a separate CSCS card.
Energy & Utility Skills is a recognised Third Party Organisation (TPO) for CITB and the UK construction industry. This scheme is recognised by CITB for short course duration funding purposes and can be offered by ATOs.
Individuals are required to complete all modules and pass the SHEA Core assessment to receive the SHEA Core registration and receive a virtual EUSR card. The programme itself is delivered by a qualified Universal Skills trainer, approved by Energy & Utility Skills.

Individuals will be access their card through an app called Vircarda on smartphones and tablets. The digital card is also compatible with CSCS’ Smart Check app enabling registered individuals access to CSCS controlled sites from the 1st of April.
