Frequently Asked Questions
What are the entry requirements?
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must hold existing 18th Edition Qualification. If you do not currently have this we would recommend our full 18th Edition Course which includes Amendment 2 content.
Why should I undertake face to face learning?
Candidates sometimes prefer to learn in a classroom setting rather than rely on self guided study. When it comes to wiring regulations, being able to interpret the changes effectively ensures compliance and piece of mind, so being able to get it right first time is important. If you're generally not confident with wiring regulations then face-to-face learning may offer the best route.
Are there any additional resources required for the course?
You'll need the updated version of the IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition resource book in order to review it's contents. You can purchase this directly from us as an add-on to your booking or you can bring your own copy with you to the course.
